Getting Around New Haven

The Yale University Shuttle also provides free transportation between the University, the East Rock neighborhood, and the New Haven train stations for students, faculty, and staff. You can even hitch a ride on the shuttle and bring your bike for when you arrive at your destination.

There is also ample access to public transportation such as the CT Transit bus line and Metro North railroad. Various bus stops are located around the city and Union Station is a hub for both Amtrak and the Metro-North Railroad.
