If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably made a New Year’s resolution to yourself to get more exercise and eat a bit healthier this year. Sounds easy enough, right?

But here’s the kicker – if you love eating out as much as I do, sticking to that healthy eating plan can feel like a real challenge. It’s not just about dodging those tempting fries or skipping the dessert menu; it’s about finding places to eat where the healthy options are actually exciting and not just an afterthought. Let’s face it, a sad side salad or a bland grilled chicken breast isn’t going to cut it when you’re trying to enjoy a meal out. So, what’s a food lover to do?

When it comes to restaurants in New Haven, there are so many better eating options, including several health restaurants. Cold outside? No problem—many offer delivery via DoorDash and Grubhub.

Ready to explore? Here’s a “must-try” list for those prioritizing health this year.
